BCG Attorney Search in Cleveland, OH seeks a Patent Agent with a strong background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering to join its Intellectual Property Team.

You will draft and prosecute patents, conduct IP due diligence, respond to office actions, perform patent searches, assess patentability, provide client counseling, manage portfolios, and engage in licensing activities in a collaborative, forward‑thinking firm.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IP experience
• Registered to practice before the USPTO
• Proven IP law firm experience
• Strong writing and research skills
• Experience with software development preferred

Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute patents and conduct IP due diligence
• Respond to office actions
• Prepare, obtain, and analyze patent searches; assess patentability, prior art, non-infringement, and validity
• Provide client counseling and manage portfolios
• Engage in licensing activities
