Role Description

The part-time Key Holder at DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse in Flowood, MS is responsible for supporting store operations and delivering an engaging customer experience in an on-site retail environment. Day-to-day tasks include welcoming customers, providing product knowledge, assisting with footwear and accessories selections, and ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing. The Key Holder helps open and close the store, follows cash handling and security procedures, and supports supervisory tasks such as directing associates and ensuring adherence to company policies. This role also assists with in-store promotions, online order pickups, and returns, while maintaining a clean, safe, and inclusive shopping environment. The position requires flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Retail customer service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and a friendly, solution-oriented approach.
• Point-of-sale and cash handling skills, with attention to accuracy, basic math, and adherence to store security and loss prevention practices.
• Merchandising and store operations skills, such as stocking, organizing inventory, and maintaining brand and visual presentation standards.
