Job summary

Sexy Roman, situated in the W Scottsdale, seeks a Pastry Prep Cook to craft gelatos, sorbet and pastries while supporting a high-energy team. You will work alongside culinary talents in a polished, vibrant setting and help maintain exceptional quality and consistency across desserts.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in fine-dining or hotel pastry, strong knife skills, and a passion for hospitality. Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of fine-dining restaurant or hotel cooking experience.
• Pastry production experience with handmade gelatos, sorbet, pastry, custard and cookies.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask in a high-volume kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pastry items including gelatos, sorbet, pastries and cookies.
• Assist service team to ensure guest needs are met in a timely manner.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, FIFO and proper food storage.
• Follow recipes, timing and company standards to ensure consistency.
