Job summary

Uchi Philadelphia in Rittenhouse Square is seeking Pastry Cooks to join the dessert production team for a morning to early afternoon shift (7am–3pm). You’ll assist with baking, sauce work, chocolate, and other pastry duties to support dinner service.

Uchi Philadelphia, l ocated inRittenhouse Square, is accepting resumes for Pastry Cooks!

Our Pastry team focuses on dessert production to prepare for dinner service, which can include baking, sauce work, chocolate work, and more. This is a morning to mid afternoon shift, with hours typically ranging from 7am to 3pm. Previous experience with pastry production is preferred.

We’re offering $17-23/hr + benefits!

Basic Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and other employees
• Detect and identify safety issues, and comply with safety guidelines and standards
• Lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs, stock inventory, and perform restocking duties
• Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Bend, stoop, and reach to access various areas and items

• Ability to work in a variety of temperatures, both hot and cold
• Lift, push, or pull objects such as tables and chairs to reconfigure seating arrangements
