DO & CO is seeking a Pastry Cook in Des Plaines, IL. You will bake and prepare pastry items, monitor wastage, and work across multiple stations to meet deadlines. Maintain a clean workstation and adhere to food safety standards, reporting issues to the supervisor and safety teams.

Training others and supporting a collaborative kitchen environment are part of the role. We offer competitive pay of $20.85 per hour, daily complimentary meals, and benefits including 401K and medical coverage.

Qualificações

• Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations
• Store ingredients and food items according to food safety standards
• Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation
• Support in staff training and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsabilidades

• Bake and prepare pastry items according to specification/recipe. Monitor wastage and complete assigned tasks on multiple station within the given time in order to meet strict deadlines.
• Keep immediate work area clean at all times and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook. Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team.
