Job summary

The Delicatessen in Phoenix is seeking passionate Bakers to join a fast-paced kitchen team. You will handle baking, prep, cooking, and plating while maintaining high quality and consistency. Candidates should be dependable, efficient, and enthusiastic about food.

Responsibilities include setting up stations, measuring ingredients, monitoring cooking, and ensuring sanitation. A current Food Handler card is preferred, and culinary schooling is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a baker, cook, or similar kitchen role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients including baking, chopping, peeling, portioning, and measuring.
• Cook and prepare food using a variety of kitchen equipment and techniques.
• Monitor food while cooking and ensure consistency and quality.
• Maintain excellent food presentation standards.
• Keep kitchen and prep areas clean, sanitized, and organized.
• Properly store ingredients and prepared items.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to leadership.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
