Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Pastry Cook to support the Pastry Sous Chef in production for the resort’s restaurants, outlets, and banquets. You will help prepare baked goods, desserts, and pastry items with a focus on quality and consistency.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control in pastry items.
• Ability to collaborate with culinary team and maintain cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pastry Sous Chef in bake shop operations and ensure proper preparation of all baked items.
• Decorate cakes, statuaries, and ornaments for events and banquets.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow safety standards.
