Highgate Hotels in Denver is seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our pastry shop team. You will work independently under minimum supervision, preparing delicious baked goods according to recipes and plating specs that create memorable guest experiences.

You will prep, cook, and bake items, support the Pastry Lead and Pastry Chef, and maintain clean, organized workstations while ensuring quality and consistency across all offerings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hospitality experience preferred.
• Culinary/Pastry experience required.
• Willingness to work long hours.
• Ability to stand for entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of menus and prep per hotel standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and bake pastries according to recipes and plating specs.
• Set up workstations with needed ingredients and equipment.
• Cook food using various utensils or ovens; ensure quality and presentation.
• Maintain a sanitized, orderly kitchen environment.
• Assist Pastry Lead and Pastry Chef to improve pastry quality.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
