Job summary

Tiny Boxwoods Productions seeks an experienced Pastry Cook to join our pastry team. This role involves preparing and producing our cookies and fresh pastry items for Tiny's Milk & Cookies and our restaurants, under the direction of the Executive Pastry Chef, in a fast-paced kitchen.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of pastry experience, a Texas Food Handlers Certificate, and flexible availability.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about baking and pastries.
• Minimum two years experience in pastry.
• Texas Food Handlers Certificate required.
• Flexible availability and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Must be passionate about baking and pastries.
• Follow traditional and modern recipes.
• Prepare and bake dough, cookies, muffins, doughnuts, pastries and related items.
• Operate commercial baking equipment safely (ovens, mixers, conveyors, proofing cabinets).
• Maintain mise en place and clean, sanitary work area.
• Assist with banquet setups, outlet orders and breakfast production.
