$20.00/hr - $22.00/hr

Position: Evening Pastry Cook

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, PM Shifts

Location: L’Ardente - Washington, DC

Concept: Modern Italian Cuisine

L’Ardente, a glam Italian restaurant celebrated for its bold flavors, refined presentation, and warm hospitality, is seeking a passionate and skilled Evening Pastry Cook to join our pastry team. You will work closely under the guidance of our Pastry Chef to execute plated desserts, support pastry production, and contribute to one of DC’s most exciting culinary destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute high-quality plated desserts during evening service with precision and consistency
  • Assist with daily prep of pastry items including doughs, custards, ice creams, and sauces
  • Follow recipes and plating standards set by the Pastry Chef
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary station in accordance with health department standards
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth service
  • Participate in weekly prep, inventory, and special event menus as needed

Ideal Candidate:

  • 1-2 years of pastry experience in a professional kitchen
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to teamwork
  • Flexible availability to work PM shifts, Sunday through Thursday
