Job Summary

The Pastry Cook will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods and desserts in accordance with Frosty Jack’s standards. This includes doughs, fillings, glazes, and finished pastries. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of baking techniques, attention to detail, and a creative flair for presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake pastries, cakes, cookies, tarts, and specialty desserts.

• Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality.

• Assist in the development of new dessert items and seasonal menu features.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and kitchen.

• Monitor inventory and report supply needs to management.

• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.

• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a pastry cook, baker, or in a similar role (minimum 1 year preferred).

• Culinary degree or pastry certification is a plus.

• Strong understanding of baking techniques, measurements, and kitchen equipment.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
