Position Overview

The Pastry Cook is responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality bread and dessert items in a timely manner to ensure excellent guest satisfaction.

Essential Functions
  • Prepare and execute pastries following recipes, proper portioning, techniques, and standards to meet guest orders.
  • Coordinate with the Chef/Manager on duty.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation while preparing desserts.
  • Perform physical activities such as walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching regularly.
  • Lift items up to 50 lbs at waist level and carry up to 80 pounds frequently.
  • Remain standing and active for a 6-8 hour shift.
  • Use cleaning agents safely and effectively.

  • Willingness to learn and dedication to food, technique, and hospitality, inspired by fine dining standards.
