Job summary

Makeready LLC in Columbus, OH is hiring a Pastry Cook for the Chouette concept. Specializing in baked goods and desserts, the pastry cook will be the scientist of the kitchen, delivering precision, consistency and creativity in breads, cakes and confections while collaborating with the chef team.

You will prepare ingredients, handle baking equipment, follow recipes, and decorate pastries for beautiful presentation.

Pastry Cook

Salary Range: $20.00 To $23.00 Annually

Specializing in baked goods and desserts, pastry cooks are the scientists of the kitchen. Precision, consistency, and creativity are the name of the game, and a Pastry Cook is master of these traits. Responsible for the production and presentation of breads, cakes, and pastries, and other delectable, this individual enjoys being a part of a team dynamic and is adept at following directions and communicating with the chef team.

Requested Tasks:

• Preparing ingredients and handling baking and other kitchen equipment.
• Creating pastries, baked goods, and confections, by following a set recipe.
