Job Summary

Location: Kentucky International Convention Center

Role: Creates, plans, and supervises the daily production of top-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise the daily production and distribution of all pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
  2. Ensure recipes and standards are followed, control food costs, and prepare appropriate quantities based on needs.
  3. Maintain proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
  4. Monitor and control sanitation and maintenance of the pastry kitchen and equipment to meet standards.
  5. Supervise kitchen/pastry staff, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, reviews, and disciplinary actions.
  6. Assist in planning and implementing seasonal menus.
  7. Order and maintain pastry supplies and inventory.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.
