Kahala Nui, considered Hawaii's premier Senior Living Community is looking for a full-time Pastry Cook. The Pastry Cook is responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting a variety of fresh pastries, desserts, and specialty baked goods for residents, guests, and special events within Kahala Nui.

Essential Duties:

• Prepare baked goods according to established recipes and production schedules.
• Decorate and present baked items in an appealing manner.
• Monitor product quality, taste, appearance, and freshness.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients.
• Assist with menu planning and special event desserts.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and infection-control standards.
• Properly store ingredients and finished products to maintain freshness and quality.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous baking experience in a commercial kitchen, restaurant, bakery, healthcare, hospitality, or senior living environment.
