Job summary

BallenIsles Country Club is seeking a pastry professional with a passion for baking to join our culinary team in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. You’ll participate in production of cakes, pastries and desserts, decorate items for events, and help maintain high sanitation and food quality standards.

We offer mentorship from hospitality pros and full benefits including a 401k with company match. Full-time, on-site hours include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor controls to minimize waste and theft of food and supplies
• Comply with health and safety guidelines

Responsibilities

• Participate in the production and preparation of fresh cakes, pastries, and desserts
• Responsible for pastry production for the dining room and all other functions in the club as instructed by Pastry Chef
• Follow pastry-related recipes and ingredient purchase specifications
• Decorate pastry items for special events such as buffets and receptions
• Maintain the highest professional food quality and sanitation standards
• Assists in planning, preparing, and/or decorating special pastry items as necessary
• Assists in the monthly inventory
• Monitors control to minimize food and supply waste and theft
• Must comply with all health and safety guidelines
• Maintain a consistent work attendance and punctuality record

Qualifications

Compensation

$24 - $28 per hour (Depending on Experience)
