  • Location: Medtronic Mounds View - 8200 Coral Sea Street, Mounds View, MN 55112. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full-time; days may vary, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Job Summary

Summary: Creates, plans, and supervises the daily production of top-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervises daily production and distribution of all pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
  • Ensures recipes and standards are followed, controls food costs, and prepares appropriate quantities based on production needs.
  • Maintains proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
  • Monitors and controls sanitation and maintenance of the pastry kitchen and equipment to meet standards and regulations.
  • Supervises kitchen/pastry staff, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, reviews, and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Assists in planning and implementing seasonal menus.
  • Orders and maintains pastry supplies and inventory.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
