Job summary

Detroit Foundation Hotel/Apparatus Room seeks a Pastry Chef reporting to the Executive Chef to lead pastry production, menu planning, and cost controls for hotel outlets. You will collaborate with culinary leadership to ensure seasonal, locally sourced ingredients shine in every item.

You guide and mentor the pastry team, maintain high standards of quality and presentation, and partner with hotel departments to deliver an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Uphold company values and collaborate with exec and F&B teams.

• Support recruitment, training, and scheduling of culinary team.
• Monitor equipment and facility conditions with maintenance teams.
