Minimum Qualifications

• Seminary or graduate education in pastoral ministry preferred.
• Credentialed, licensed, and ordained by the Christian and Missionary Alliance or willing to work toward it.

Previous Pastoral Experience

• We prefer someone with previous experience as a pastor but would consider a second career, first-time pastor with life experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversight of all areas of ministry within the church
• Empowering others to use gifts within all areas of ministry
• Preaching & teaching in Sunday morning services and additional services as the needs arise
• Teaching Bible studies
• Community and congregational visitation
• Pastoral counseling
• Working with the church leadership team
• Involvement with church events
• Outreach and evangelism

Family

• Prefer a married pastor with a wife who is involved in church life but not a requirement.

Additional Requirements

• We prefer a candidate who is willing to relocate to Ramsey or nearby to be involved in our community.
• Must successfully complete and pass a background check.
• Must complete The C&MA’s “Protect the Church: Serving Safe with Minors Training Course” or equivalent prior to start.
