Gorham Community Church in Gorham is seeking a Part-Time Pastor to plan, preach, and lead the weekly in-person worship service. You will provide pastoral care to the congregation and council while guiding lay leadership to implement ongoing programs.

You will support the renewal process by attending council meetings and offering spiritual leadership, helping to bring continuity and stability during this time of transition.

Pastor Part-Time - Gorham Community Church

Denomination: United Church of Christ and Christian Church Disciples of Christ

Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, preach, and lead the in-person weekly worship service in coordination with Church Council. Provide pastoral care as needed to congregation and council. Provide guidance, coaching, spiritual leadership, and support to lay leadership as they plan and implement ongoing programs. Support our renewal process by attending council and other related meetings when possible. Provide a sense of continuity, stability, and community during time of transition.

Salary Basis: per Week. Weddings, Memorial Services, funerals, and other special services outside of weekly worship service to be compensated separately and independent of Gorham Community Church. Hours: Estimated at 10/week. Commitment: One year from date of hire with possible extension.
