Westminster Theological Seminary in New York City is searching for an Interim Pastor to lead its Gospel-centered congregation. The role involves leading Sunday services, providing oversight to part-time staff, and engaging with the Church Council.
This position requires 10+ years of pastoral experience and is expected to pay between $13,350 and $15,900 per month. Accommodation is not provided. Ideal candidates will have experience in preaching, pastoral care, and church administration.
Christ Church is a small, Gospel-centered Anglican congregation of about 70 people in New York City, currently independent but exploring affiliation with an Anglican diocese. The mission is to make disciples of Jesus, who make disciples of Jesus, for the glory of God (Matthew 28:18-20).
The Interim Pastor will report to the Trustees and Church Council. The three part‑time staff will report to the Interim Pastor, who will provide oversight and guidance.
The role is 4-6 months, with possible 2‑month extensions. Either party may terminate the contract with one month’s notice.
The candidate could provide direction and pastoral input for events such as Women & Men’s Impact weekends, and be available to support ministry leaders serving teams.
$13,350–$15,900 per month (annualized $160,000–$190,000), commensurate with experience. For ordained, commissioned, or licensed ministers, part of compensation may be designated as a Minister’s Housing Allowance in accordance with IRS regulations. Accommodation is not provided.
