Job summary

A regional religious organization is seeking a part-time individual for community care and visitation. Responsibilities include visiting hospitals and homes, recruiting and training teams, and assisting with worship. Ideal candidates should be committed Christians with compassionate hearts and relevant experience in leadership and training. This position requires 24 hours of work per week with a negotiable salary package.

Responsibilities

• Visit hospitals, nursing homes, and individuals at home.
• Recruit and train lay visitation teams.
• Assist with worship and attend staff meetings for planning.
• Attend staff meetings for planning, vision casting, and coordination; lead or assist worship when requested.

• Share in hospital, home bound, and nursing home visitation.
• Along with the Congregational Care Team, recruit, train, and resource lay visitation teams.
• Help recruit and resource the Stephen Ministry Team.
• Attend staff meetings for planning, vision casting, and coordination.
• Lead and/or assist with worship as requested.
