About the Position

First Christian Church of Syracuse, Kansas, is seeking a full-time Pastor to lead our congregation. We celebrated 100 years of service last year and are looking to reach a younger demographic, including a significant Hispanic community. Bilingual ability or a willingness to learn Spanish is preferred.

Church Overview

We are a loyal and supportive church family in a community with conservative values, ideal for raising children. Our church is eager to support and encourage our new Pastor.

Candidate Expectations

• Engage in evangelism and community outreach
• Provide spiritual guidance and deliver weekly sermons
• Oversee church programs and lead worship services
• Officiate religious ceremonies such as weddings and funerals
• Adhere to Restoration Movement beliefs and principles

Compensation and Benefits

Annual salary of $34,000 plus a three-bedroom parsonage with full utilities, valued at $18,000. Benefits include two weeks of paid vacation and a 5th Sunday off each month.
