The Big Picture
Hope Community Church (hopechurchlowell.com) is seeking an ordained, Spirit-equipped, servant-leader, committed to the Reformed faith.
In the spirit of Ephesians 4:11-16, we seek an ordained, Spirit-equipped, servant-leader, committed to the Reformed faith, who will:
Our goal is to draw the unchurched into a saving relationship with Jesus and into our church family. We desire a pastor who will lead us in congregational self-study and goal-setting, reviewing the past and planning for the future to strengthen and unify Hope Community Church. The job description should be viewed in light of these goals.
This is a full-time position. The pastor is a member of the church council and is accountable to the council in doctrine, life, and duties. The pastor partners with the church, staff, council, elders, and deacons to carry out the ministry of Hope Church.
Regular responsibilities include:
Partnering with council and members to ensure pastoral care for all, including visits to shut-ins, those traumatized or hospitalized.
Provide pastoral counseling, conflict resolution, and referrals to Christian licensed therapists as needed.
Support and assist ministry groups and leaders.
