Job summary

A local Baptist church in Laurel Springs, NJ, is seeking a full-time Pastor who is committed to preaching the Gospel and shepherding its community. Job description

The ideal candidate is a believer in and a preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ,as presented in God’s Word.He will preach weekly Sunday sermons focusing on both Old and New Testament. In addition, he will lead mid-week Bible studies and disciple people of all ages. By God’s grace, he will create and buildout a youth program. In his leadership he will partner with the church leadership team (Moderator, Deacons and Elders) to collectively make Christ-centered decisions.

The Qualifications

We require a man that meets the qualifications in I Timothy and Titus. He must have a minimum of a four-year college degree. It is preferred that he would be a graduate of a Bible-believing seminary or have at least two years of Christian pastoral experience. The church is healthy, eager to grow in the Word of God and praying for the next pastor God would have for us.

Laurel Springs Baptist Church (laurelspringsbaptistchurch.org ) is a Christ-centered church of 75-100 active members (pre-covid) seeking a full-time Pastor who is committed to preaching the Word of God and shepherding the Body of Christ.

The Church

We are an independent Baptist Church established in 1894. Our beliefs are founded in the Bible which we believe is the inerrant, inspired Word of God. Our purpose is to unite for worship, promote the gospel of Jesus Christ, aid in missionary outreach and build up our members in scriptural faith. Our pastor of 51 years has retired, and we are looking for the next man of God to carry on with faithfulness at Laurel Springs Baptist Church.
