Description & Position Overview

We are seeking a relational, faithful Pastor to lead our Sunday worship services and help shape the growth of our church. The initial focus will be on Sunday morning service. This part-time role offers a weekly salary with a flexible housing allowance structure. The ideal candidate has a passion for teaching the word of God, engaging in our congregation, and helping establish dedicated youth programs for Sunday morning.

Key Responsibilities

• Sunday Worship & Preaching: Prepare and deliver biblically grounded, engaging Sunday sermons that inspire and challenge believers at all stages of faith.
• Ministry Growth & Vision: Partner with church leadership to launch and foster a Sunday morning Sunday School.
• Community & Congregational Connection: Connect warmheartedly with church members, visitors, and families in our congregational community in times of need.

Qualifications & Attributes

• Faith & Alignment: A strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and alignment with core Christian/non-denominational beliefs.
• Preaching Ability: Comfortable teaching scripture in a way that is practical, accessible, and relevant to a multigenerational rural congregation.
• Heart for Youth & Community: Passionate about growing young believers and building community programs.
• Education & Experience: Open to candidates of varied educational backgrounds—whether seminary-trained, holding a Bible college degree, or possessing equivalent practical ministry experience and a clear calling to preach.

Compensation & Schedule

• Schedule: Part-time (primarily Sunday morning service preparation/delivery and other pastoral duties as needed).
• Compensation: Paid weekly salary and house allowance structure.
• Growth Opportunity: Potential to expand responsibilities, hours, and compensation into a full-time pastoral role as youth and family ministries develop.
