Job summary

Major Food Group is hiring for a Pasta Prep Cook in Miami to join the Vino concept in Coconut Grove. You will assemble and stock stations, prepare fresh pasta batches, and learn in-kitchen techniques while supporting a fast-paced, hospitality-driven team.

We welcome applicants with fresh pasta experience as a plus; training is provided. This entry-level role offers growth opportunities, a competitive salary, and comprehensive benefits in a dynamic restaurant group.

Qualifications

• Fresh pasta experience helpful, not required - training provided!
• Team-oriented and positive attitude
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Strong communication skills a must

• Prepare batches of fresh pasta according to recipe standards
• Learn about the cooking methods and techniques employed in the kitchen
• Stock inventory appropriately

The menu features an extensive selection of handmade pastas, Sicilian pizzas, signature entrées like spicy rigatoni and friend veal chop prepared “your way”, and fresh gelato served table-side.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies


• Prepare batches of fresh pasta according to recipe standards


• Learn about the cooking methods and techniques employed in the kitchen
