Job summary

Sunset Station is hiring a Pasta Cucina Cook (Part Time) to support the kitchen team. The role involves direct support to the Executive Chef and other chefs, cooking, frying, sautéing, carving, broiling, grilling, and steaming a variety of items as needed.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of high-volume restaurant cooking experience, with the ability to obtain all required work cards and maintain high safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one to two years cook experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
• Must be able to obtain all necessary work cards, demonstrate sound judgment and great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Chef and team in daily kitchen operations.
• Prepare and cook meats, fish, eggs, vegetables and other items as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness, ensure sanitation standards, and stock cold items.

Description:

Directly supports the Executive Chef, Asst. Executive Chef,Room Chef and Asst. Room Chef. The cook ensures that the kitchen andequipment are in good working order, maintains cleanliness, safety andsanitation standards. Supports Chef's in cooking, frying, sautéing,carving, broiling, grilling, steaming all meats, fish, eggs, vegetables,etc. Maintain cleanliness of area as well as keeping cold items stocked.Ensure kitchen area and equipment are in good working order.
