Job summary

California Pizza Kitchen is seeking a Pasta Cook to uphold high standards of food quality and sanitation while preparing pastas, sandwiches, and grilled items in a fast-paced, team‑oriented kitchen. Team members bring California creativity to every plate and ensure guests have a memorable dining experience.

Three to six months of related experience or training is preferred. The role offers flexible shifts, training, and opportunities to grow within a diverse culture at CPK.

Qualifications

• Three to six months related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest standards for food quality and sanitation.
• Assure timely and accurate preparation of pastas, sandwiches, and grilled items.
• Support line checks process and complete prep par sheets every shift.
• Prepare all necessary items for their station as needed.
• Practice and teach safe/sanitary handling of cutting boards, countertops, knives, and equipment.
• Maintain the proper temperature of equipment and perform station opening/closing and side work duties each shift.
