Job summary

Brethren Care Village in Ashland, Ohio is seeking a Part-Time Passenger Transportation Driver to support residents by coordinating transport to appointments and activities in a friendly, caring environment. You will operate and maintain vehicles, follow safety and infection control policies, and work with our mission-driven team to deliver compassionate, individualized care.

This role offers flexible daytime hours and opportunities to contribute to resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Current and valid Ohio State driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Respects and shows kindness to all residents.
• Assures that vehicles are free of hazardous debris.
• Reports all pertinent information to the Director of Housing and appropriate support staff.
• Protects and maintains all work areas in accordance with facility safety policies.
• Performs daily tasks in accordance with infection control and standard precaution policies and procedures.
• Ambulates residents in accordance with individual plans of care.
• Daily task - schedules medical appointments
• Toilets residents when out on appointments
• Participates in facility committees giving input.
• During down time perform duties assigned by supervisor.
• Clean vehicles inside and out as needed.
• Gas vehicles as needed.
• Oil changes at service centers as needed.
• Perform monthly safety check on all vehicles.
• Monthly cleaning of transportation wheelchairs and layback chair.

Part Time | Days | Hours vary between 8am - 5pm

PRN | As Needed

Pay: $12 - $13.80/hr
