Job summary

Swissport is hiring for passenger service roles in Georgia, USA. You will handle reservations, ticketing, boarding passes, baggage processing, and customer assistance at check-in and gate operations, ensuring smooth passenger flow and adherence to security policies.

Responsibilities include assisting VIPs and passengers with special needs, coordinating with Customs and Immigration, and performing related duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Passionate about customer service and must have relevant work experience.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in country specific language.
• Additional languages desirable.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.
• Self motivated and able to work independently.
• Attentive to detail and numerate.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures and apply flexible approach when required.
• Must be able to type and learn airline specific computer reservation/ ticketing software.
• Willingness to work in inclement weather.
• Flexible to work on various shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and holidays).

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify passenger documentation.
• Issue boarding passes and reschedule passengers affected by flight interruptions or cancellations.
• Manage passenger baggage processing and fee calculations.
• Assist passengers with special needs, VIPs, and unaccompanied minors.
• Direct passengers through Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine.
• Make public announcements as required.
• Support Ramp Service to load/unload at departure/arrival.
• Comply with security requirements and SOPs.
• Operate jet way and reservation/ticketing software.
• Produce required work-related documentation.
• Share Health & Safety knowledge with others.
• Report incidents or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Perform duties conscientiously and safely.
• Other duties as assigned.
