Job summary

Direct Automotive Services, LLC is seeking a non-CDL driver for local auto auction and dealership runs in the Las Vegas area. This is a full-time 1099 contract position with steady, year-round work and daytime hours.

You will drive passenger vehicles to and from Manheim Auto Auction and nearby dealers, operate a shuttle with other drivers, perform basic safety checks, and complete simple inspections using a smartphone. Heat tolerance and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• Good Driving Record for 3 years minimum.
• Successful MVR, background and drug test.
• Ability to get in and out of vehicles repeatedly during the day.
• Smart Phone required.
• Manual Driver preferred.
• Able to withstand heat.
• Marijuana use or impairment is prohibited while driving or on assignment, regardless of legality or medical authorization

Responsibilities

• Drive passenger vehicles to and from the auto auctions and nearby dealerships or storage lots.
• Ride in a company shuttle van with other drivers to and from the pickup and drop-off locations
• Follow other vehicles or chase van in front of you
• Follow safe driving procedures
• Scan vehicles with a Smart phone
• Perform a walk around visual inspection for damage before driving the vehicle
• Work as part of a team to provide efficient and safe pickup and delivery of vehicles

• Perform a walk around visual inspection for damage before driving the vehicle
• Work as part of a team to provide efficient and safe pickup and delivery of vehicles

Requirements

• 21+ years of age

• Ability to see clearly near and far, maintain adequate peripheral vision and perceive depth and motion as well as distinguish traffic signals and sounds.

Pay Rate

$13.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday-Friday Approximately 40 hours

• Arrive 15 minutes before scheduled time for check-in and security procedures
