Job summary

McKenzie Health in Watford City, ND seeks a Patient Access Representative to perform outpatient and inpatient registration and provide information to patients and families. You will help ensure financial requirements are met or assist with payment plans while delivering excellent patient-focused service.

Responsibilities include front desk duties, registration across Emergency, Outpatient, and Inpatient settings, and insurance verification.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Position Description:

The Patient Access Representative (PAS) will perform outpatient and inpatient registration functions. You will provide general information to hospital users, patients, and families, ensure that patients meet financial requirements or assist in payment plan, provide excellent patient focused customer service, communicate effectively to service delivery areas to maximize patient flow and customer service.

Education/Experience:

A minimum of 1 years' experience in healthcare or customer service setting is preferred with a work record that demonstrates:

Previous experience required in one or more of these settings:

• Customer Service Setting
• Hospital or Clinic setting

Licenses/Certifications:

CAC certification preferred or obtained within 3 months of employment.
