Job summary

Mass General Brigham’s North Shore Medical Center seeks a detail-minded admissions professional to coordinate inpatient and hospital-based outpatient admissions. You will ensure accurate patient data, explain policies, and guide patients or their representatives through the admission process.

You’ll interview patients, enter data into the system, circulate information to ancillary departments, and contribute to CQI activities to improve care and workflows.

Qualifications

• English reading/writing/speaking required; additional languages a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Analytical ability for numbers and situations.
• Typing 40 wpm required.
• Familiarity with medical billing and insurance.
• Office experience with keyboard/computer in a medical setting preferred.
• Customer service experience required.

Responsibilities
