Job summary

Specialty Coating Systems is seeking a Coating Operator I to operate parylene deposition systems and related equipment, ensuring parts meet customer and engineering specs. You will load/unload machines, monitor runs, verify coating thickness and perform routine maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities include documenting QC tests, adjusting processes, and handling shipping/receiving as required. A high school diploma or GED is required, with strong reading, writing, and manual dexterity skills

Qualifications

  • Reads and follows written or verbal instructions.
  • Must be able to read and write in English.
  • Measures coating thickness with standard devices and tools.
  • Exhibits high manual dexterity and accurate hand-eye coordination.
  • Familiar with electrical and mechanical systems involved in processing.

Responsibilities

  • Operate parylene deposition systems and related equipment.
  • Load, monitor and unload machines; verify coating thickness.
  • Perform routine maintenance and refurbishing of equipment.
  • Document witness strips, QC tests and maintenance logs.
