The role requires reading drawings, operating multiple machines, and following MSPs and instructions from the Plant Manager and supervisors. Strong mechanical ability and English literacy are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with mechanical ability or prior machine operator experience.
Ability to read, write and follow written or verbal instructions.
Ability to read English.
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
Knowledge of computers.
Knowledge of parylene and chemistry is helpful.
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

Load machines, monitor process equipment during runs and verify coating thickness.
Operate coating and related equipment with minimal assistance and manage startup/shutdown.
Perform routine maintenance of systems and refurbishing at defined intervals.
Maintain records, checklists, and logs for equipment and QC tests.
Read customer or engineering drawings and assemble fixtures for coating.
Prepare, use, and dispose of chemical cleaning and promotion baths.
