Job summary

Main Event is seeking a friendly Party Host to lead birthday celebrations, ensuring fun, safety, and sanitation at every step. You’ll manage scheduled activities, engage guests, and coordinate with party parents to deliver a seamless experience.

Ideal candidates bring a guest-focused mindset, strong teamwork, and the ability to communicate clearly with management and guests. Availability for days, nights, and weekends is required to support multiple parties.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage or Party Host experience is a plus, but not required.
• Guest-focused mindset.
• Teamwork is a must.
• Attention to detail and strong multi-tasking skills.
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
• Availability to work days, nights and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Upholding cleanliness and safety standards.
• Welcoming and engaging with arriving parties and serving as their Host.
• Creating memorable experiences by interacting with guests throughout the party.
• Monitoring events, anticipating party needs, and aiding the party parent/planner.
• Gathering and storing birthday gifts and cake (if applicable).
• Processing payment transactions and welcoming guests back.
• Setting up, breaking down, and cleaning before and after each party event.

At Main Event, our Party Hosts are the life of the party and create unforgettable birthday memories! As a Party Host, you are enthusiastic and relentless in creating FUN birthday celebrations, all while having a little fun yourself! You know the details of the event inside and out and can manage the scheduled birthday activities, so our birthday parents don’t have to! You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Welcoming and engaging with arriving birthday parties and serving as their Host throughout their scheduled activities (let’s get this party started!)
• Creating memorable experiences by interacting and engaging with the party Guests throughout the birthday event
• Ensuring memorable birthday experiences by monitoring events, anticipating party needs, and aiding the party parent/party planner
• Gathering and storing birthday gifts and cake (if applicable)
• Processing payment transactions and welcoming our Guests back
• Setting up, breaking down, and cleaning before and after each party event

Requirements

Compensation

Salary Compensation is from $7.25 - $11 per hour
