Job summary

Main Event Entertainment seeks a friendly Party Host to welcome birthday parties and lead their activities, ensuring everyone has a memorable experience. You will manage event flow, coordinate with parents and staff, and keep guests safe and engaged.

Responsibilities include assisting with setup and teardown, handling payments, and maintaining high sanitation standards while delivering outstanding service to every birthday party.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage or Party Host experience is a plus but not required.
• Guest-focused mindset is essential.
• Teamwork is required and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage arriving birthday parties as their Host throughout scheduled activities.
• Create memorable experiences by interacting with guests during the event.
• Monitor events, anticipate party needs, and assist the party planner/party parent.
• Gather and store gifts and cake (if applicable) and process payments.
• Set up, break down, and clean before and after each party; uphold cleanliness and safety standards.

As a Party Host, you are enthusiastic and relentless in creating FUN birthday celebrations, all while having a little fun yourself! You know the details of the event inside and out and can manage the scheduled birthday activities, soour birthdayparents don’t have to! You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Welcomeand engagewith arriving birthday parties and serving as their Host throughout their scheduled activities (let’s get this party started!)
• Creating memorable experiences by interacting and engaging with the party Guests throughout the birthday event
• Ensuring memorable birthday experiences by monitoring events, anticipating party needs, and aiding the party parent/party planner
• Gathering and storing birthday gifts and cake (if applicable)
• Processing payment transactions and welcoming our Guests back
• Setting up, breaking down, and cleaning before and after each party eventUpholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage or Party Host experience is a plus but not required
• Guest-focusedmindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Attention to detail and strong multi-tasking skills
• Caneffectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability toworkdays, nights and/or weekends
