Job summary

The Michaels store in Green Bay, WI is seeking an energetic Event Coordinator to plan and run kids' parties and in-store events, delivering a fun, creative experience for guests. You will assist customers, guide them through crafts, manage checkout needs, and coordinate with the store team to ensure every event meets Michaels' standards of safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events.
• Engage with clients of all ages, creating an environment of fun and creativity.
• Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects; perform face painting and other activities.
• Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, etc. to company standards.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members.
• Complete administrative tasks such as emails, calls, and paperwork.
• Adjust plans and events based on client feedback and needs.
• Create backup or emergency plans as needed.
• Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events.
• Set up, break down, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
