Event Coordination
- Plan and coordinate multiple events at once, including children’s birthday parties, craft classes, and other in‑store events.
- Engage with clients of all ages, creating an environment of fun and creativity.
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects, including face painting and other activities.
- Facilitate and implement party add‑ons such as goody bags, balloons, and other company‑standard items.
- Communicate event details with clients and store team members.
- Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork.
- Adjust plans and events based on client feedback and needs.
- Create backup or emergency plans to be executed as needed.
- Uphold client satisfaction for scheduled events.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards: set up, break down, and clean before and after each event.
Customer Experience
- Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience.
- Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
- Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
- Assist with omni‑channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
- Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
- Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance.
- Perform Store in Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
- Support shrink‑and‑safety programs.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
- Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, remaining positive even in difficult situations.
- Cross‑train in custom framing selling and production.
- Participate in daily store cleanliness activities, such as sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining restrooms.

- Experience working with children and children’s events.

- Retail and/or customer service experience required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to move throughout the store.
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
- Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
- Request assistance for reasonable accommodations if needed.
- Work in a public retail store setting, including climate‑controlled areas and some outdoor work.
- Frames shop contains glass cutter and heat press; work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
Work Environment
- Regular interaction with the public in a retail setting.
- Potential exposure to tools and equipment such as ladders, glass cutters, and heat presses.
- Compliance with company safety protocols and equipment usage guidelines.
