Do you love working with kids, building relationships, and making an impact through soccer? Are you a natural communicator with strong sales skills? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Program Coordinator role at Soccer Shots Chicago NW Suburbs!

As a Program Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in growing and maintaining our youth soccer program. This is a part-time position focused on coaching and program promotion. After successfully completing a one-season trial period (2 months), we may offer a full-time position with salary to be discussed. In a full-time role, you will be responsible for coordinating classes, communicating with families and school partners, and helping expand our reach by promoting Soccer Shots to new schools and locations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy building connections, we’d love to hear from you!

What You Get:

  1. Compensation: $20 per 30-40 minute session (potential to earn up to $40 per hour when coaching back-to-back sessions)
  2. Performance-Based Bonus for each new school or location secured and each child enrolled there
  3. Flexible Schedule that works with your availability
  4. Opportunities for Growth within the organization
  5. A Fun & Rewarding Environment where you make a difference in children's lives
  6. Potential for Full-Time Promotion based on performance after one season (8-10 weeks)

What You’ll Do:

  1. Coach & Promote the Program: Initially, you will focus on coaching sessions and increasing awareness of Soccer Shots in the community
  2. Coordinate & Manage Soccer Shots Classes (Full-Time Only): Oversee scheduling, coach assignments, and daily operations
  3. Sales & Outreach: Proactively visit schools, daycares, childcares, and early childhood education centers to promote Soccer Shots and establish new partnerships
  4. Customer Communication: Act as the point of contact for parents, school administrators, and coaches
  5. Assist with Program Growth: Help implement marketing strategies, attend community events, and spread awareness about Soccer Shots
  6. Support the Coaching Team: Ensure rosters, schedules, and equipment are organized for smooth program execution

What You Need:

  1. Availability for Coaching in Early Childhood Education Centers: Must be available at least two days during the week. Coaching hours are 9:00-11:30 AM and 2:30-4:30 PM. Please do not apply if you are only available after 4:00 PM or between 12:00-3:00 PM.
  2. Excellent Communication & Sales Skills – Ability to confidently engage with school directors and parents
  3. Experience Working with Kids (Ages 2-8) (Not Mandatory - Training Provided): Our program focuses on early childhood development through soccer. If you have acting or theater skills, that’s a huge plus! The ideal coach should not be shy—you should be fun, energetic, and love engaging with kids in a silly, playful way.
  4. Reliable Transportation – Must be comfortable driving to various locations across the NW suburbs. Our territory includes areas such as Elk Grove Village (60007), Palatine (60067), Lake in the Hills (60156), and Plato Center (60124).

  6. Passion for Youth Development & Soccer – Experience in coaching or youth programs is a plus!
  7. Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented – Must be proactive in securing new partnerships and growing the program
