Responsibilities

• Assist customers on the sales floor with product selection, pricing inquiries, and checkout.
• Receive, sort, and organize donated merchandise including furniture, appliances, and building materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and visually appealing store environment.
• Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Support donation intake by greeting donors and unloading contributions.
• Stock and merchandise shelves, displays, and floor sets to maximize sales.
• Educate customers about Habitat for Humanity's mission and ReStore's community impact.

Habitat for Humanity of Walton County's ReStore is looking for an enthusiastic Part-Time Sales Associate to join our mission-driven team in beautiful Santa Rosa Beach, FL! Responsibilities:

Assist customers on the sales floor with product selection, pricing inquiries, and checkout

Receive, sort, and organize donated merchandise including furniture, appliances, and building materials

Maintain a clean, safe, and visually appealing store environment

Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems

Support donation intake by greeting donors and unloading contributions

Stock and merchandise shelves, displays, and floor sets to maximize sales

Educate customers about Habitat for Humanity's mission and ReStore's community impact

Requirements:

Previous retail, customer service, or resale/thrift store experience preferred

Friendly, outgoing demeanor with strong interpersonal communication skills

Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs regularly

Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible part-time schedule including weekends

Basic math and cash-handling skills; POS experience a plus

Passion for community service and alignment with Habitat for Humanity's mission
