Job summary

Habitat for Humanity of Walton County's ReStore in Santa Rosa Beach, FL is seeking a friendly Part-Time Warehouse & Donation Associate to help sort, process and display donated items while supporting customers on the sales floor.

This role offers active work in a fast-paced thrift-store environment, with opportunities to lift heavy items, coordinate donations, and contribute to affordable housing in Walton County through a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50+ lbs regularly.
• Previous warehouse, retail, or donation center experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule including weekends.
• Forklift or pallet jack experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and process donated goods including furniture, appliances, building materials, and home décor
• Assist donors with unloading donations in a courteous and efficient manner
• Organize and stock the sales floor, ensuring merchandise is clean, priced, and attractively displayed
• Operate warehouse equipment and assist with moving heavy or oversized items safely
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and donation intake area
• Support customers on the sales floor with locating items and loading purchases
• Evaluate donated items for quality and determine acceptance per ReStore guidelines
