Job summary

Plantation Bay Golf and Country Club Spa in Florida seeks a Part‑Time Massage Therapist to deliver 30-, 60-, and 90‑minute massages by appointment, including Relaxation, Therapeutic, Reflexology, and Hot Stone modalities. You will guide clients through offerings, document histories, assess problem areas, and advise on stretches and routines to enhance well‑being.

The role is 1099, commission-based with tips, and includes product support; desired is strong client communication and a flexible

Qualifications

• Certification in Massage Therapy is required.
• Evidence of General Liability Insurance is required.
• Position is 1099 and pays on commission plus tips.

Responsibilities

• Provide 30-, 60-, and 90-minute massages to clients by appointment.
• Perform Relaxation, Therapeutic, Reflexology, and Hot Stone massages.
• Guide clients on service offerings and recommend suitable massages.
• Take detailed client histories and note health conditions.
• Evaluate clients to identify painful or stressed areas.
• Advise on stretching, strengthening or relaxation methods.
• Suggest future appointments and maintenance regimens.
• Listen to clients and adjust techniques as desired.

Part Time Massage Therapist - Plantation Bay Country Club and Spa

Plantation Bay Golf and Country Club Spa is seeking a Part‑Time Massage Therapist. This massage therapist is responsible for treating clients through soft tissue manipulation while maintaining a safe and relaxing experience. The therapist should be good at perceiving client wishes and needs through spoken language, body language and other cues and modifying their treatments accordingly. They report to the Spa Director.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 30-, 60-and 90-minute massages to clients by appointment
• Ability to perform Relaxation, Therapeutic, Reflexology, and Hot Stone Massages
• Guide clients through service offerings and determine which massages would benefit them most
• Take a detailed client history and note any health conditions
• Evaluate clients to determine painful or stressed areas of the body
• Advise clients on stretching, strengthening or relaxation methods
• Suggest future massage appointments and regimen to clients
• Listen to clients during appointments and adjust technique as they desire

Requirements:

• Certification in Massage Therapy
• Proof of General Liability Insurance
• Willing to work on commission and tipsPosition pays 60% commission of services provided + 100% of tips
• We provide towels, lotions, oils and CBD oils
• Provide own linens

• Average income $1000-$1500 per month
