Job summary

Oetiker is seeking a 2nd shift Machine Operator to operate and maintain wash systems, ensuring parts are cleaned to specifications. The role requires basic math and computer skills, attention to detail, and a GED or high school diploma with experience in light manufacturing.

Primary hours are 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for growth. Responsibilities include following procedures, documenting processes, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment in a busy

Qualifications

• Basic math and computer skills are required.
• Attention to detail is essential for quality control.
• High School diploma or GED with 1 year of light manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow operating procedures for machines.
• Operate wash systems and wash parts per production schedule.
• Ensure cleaned parts meet quality standards and are not damaged.
• Report discrepancies to the supervisor and document them.
• Move inspected parts to appropriate stock locations and package for shipping.
• Label parts and complete required shipping documentation.
• Maintain plant housekeeping and assist with other tasks as needed.
