Job summary

Fs Compression in Houston is seeking a Parts & Warehouse Worker to perform receiving, packing, shipping, and inspection duties. You will move materials using forklifts and hand tools, conduct quality checks, and maintain inventory accuracy while upholding safety.

This full-time role requires detail orientation and the ability to work independently in a team, with MS Office and SAP familiarity beneficial.

Qualifications

  • Forklift certification required.
  • Experience handling receiving, packing, shipping and inspections.
  • Ability to follow inventory procedures and maintain accuracy.
  • Safety-first mindset and adherence to policies.

Responsibilities

  • Transports incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task including but not limited to hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly, pallet jack, and/or elevator.
  • Performs quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products.
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures.
  • Picks, packs, and ships materials and products.
  • Processes all packages for shipping; processes returned merchandise.
  • Conducts physical inventory counts; replenishes stock from back-up locations as needed.
  • Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
  • Participates in quality improvement efforts.
  • Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports

Description

Performs a combination of tasks including but not limited to receiving, filling, shipping, and inspecting orders accurately and in a timely manner; efficiently and safely loads, unloads, and conveys materials; optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibility.
