Job summary

FabCorp in Houston, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle day-to-day warehouse activities under the Material & Logistics Control lead. You will pull parts, label shipments, load/unload using forklift, and ensure accuracy across packing slips and orders.

The role requires basic computer skills, ability to work overtime, and adherence to ISO procedures and safety guidelines. You will maintain stock in correct locations and perform regular inventory checks as part of a busy logistics team.

Responsibilities

• Pull parts using pick sheets.
• Identify system jobs pulled for production with the appropriate work orders.
• Ensure all parts pulled for orders are identified with a parts label.
• Prepare parts orders for shipment: photograph, label, box, and record weights and dimensions.
• Label and identify shipping crates with Sales Order, Serial Number, Weights and Dimensions, warning labels and documentation.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound shipments using forklift.
• Verify part count and descriptions match delivery ticket, PO and packing slip.
• Prepare shipments for outside operation including shrink wrap and/or strapping for safe travel.
• Stock and place received materials to correct bin locations.
• Organize and relocate inventory as instructed.
• Identify and move material in and out of inspections area.
• Perform inventory cycle counts.
• Take photos of all orders and store online.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Reports to: Material & Logistics Control Manager

SUMMARY

Responsible for performing the day‑to‑day warehouse activities as directed by the Material & Logistics Control lead.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

• Have the ability to maintain training, follow company policies and procedures as part of the on‑the‑job training process.
• Pull parts using pick sheets.
• Identify system jobs pulled for production with the appropriate work orders associated for assembly.
• Ensure all parts pulled for parts orders are identified with a parts label.
• Prepare parts order for shipment. Photograph, label, box and provide weights and dimensions.
• Label and identify shipping crates with Sales Order, Serial Number, Weights and Dimensions, warning labels and all required documentation necessary for shipment.
• Load and unload inbound and inbound shipments using forklift.
• Verify part count and descriptions match delivery ticket, purchase order and packing slip when signing material from vendor.
• Prepare shipments for outside operation including shrink wrap and/or strapping down material for safe travel.
• Stock and place received materials to correct bin locations.
• Organize and/ or relocate inventory as instructed.
• Identify and move material in and out of the inspections area.
• Perform inventory cycle counts.
• Oversee crating activities when systems are being boxed up.
• Take photos of all orders; parts orders, system orders secured and labeled in shipping box.
• Store all photos online.
• Responsible for keeping packaging material on hand by notifying purchasing.
• Daily forklift check & verification.
• Work necessary hours to meet work requirements, including overtime.
• Maintain orderly warehouse and surrounding areas.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.
• Use ERP software as necessary for support of your job duties
• Wear the required PPE and follow safety guidelines.
• Follow all ISO procedures and guidance requirements
