Job description

The Parts Warehouse Associate I is responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining an organized warehouse operation through basic warehouse processes and inventory management.

What You'll Do
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and safe (COPS) work environment.
  • Understand basic warehouse operations including picking, packing, staging, putting away, delivering orders, and maintaining customer will-call.
  • Have a basic to intermediate understanding of cores, ship desk, hose fabrication, and will-call processes.
  • Understand basic principles of inventory control.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need
  • High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training.
  • Ability to pass the WorkSteps test for this position.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Availability for weekend, holiday, or evening work as required.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions and memos.
  • Effective communication skills in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to interpret data from bar graphs and apply common sense to follow instructions.
  • Problem-solving skills involving concrete variables.
  • Knowledge of database, internet, inventory, and order processing software.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements if applicable.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.

Additional Information

Physical requirements include frequent use of hands, standing, walking, reaching, and occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing. Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds. Vision and environmental conditions vary, with exposure to humidity, moving parts, fumes, chemicals, weather, electrical hazards, and noise.
