Job summary

Stewart & Stevenson is hiring a Warehouse I at 10750 Telge Road, Houston, TX 77095. The role involves movement of parts/products and organizing the parts yard for an oil & gas equipment manufacturer.

Responsibilities include daily warehouse inspections, coordinating shipments, maintaining shipping records, and ensuring a clean, safe work environment. Basic inventory procedures and teamwork with Sales, Parts, Service, and Equipment Sales are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse and inventory operations preferred.
• Knowledge of basic inventory, warehousing and stocking procedures preferred.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the warehouse daily to ensure items are stored, accessible, and inventoried as system and policy require.
• Coordinate shipment materials from warehouse to customers, suppliers, and other branches to support material needs.
• Complete and maintain records of shipping activities and related documents.
• Maintain clean and orderly conditions in the warehouse.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, scales, computer, and ladders as needed.
