Kenworth Sales Company in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Parts Warehouse Associate to join the team. This role handles receiving, stocking, and processing stock, picking and packing orders, and coordinating pick-up/delivery of parts to support the sales team.

The position operates on 2nd shift (1:30pm-10pm) with a focus on accuracy, safety and timely order fulfillment. A high school diploma is required, forklift training provided, and a pre-employment drug screen applies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Schedule for 2nd shift 1:30pm-10PM

Salary Minimum and Maximum: $19.00 - $22.00 Depending on experience!

JOB SUMMARY

The primary function of the Parts Warehouse Associate is receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse, and pick-up and delivery of orders.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Processing customer returns, including cores adhering to inspection and return criteria.
• Ship eligible dealer cores and part returns to the originating vendors.
• Ensure accuracy of parts inventory by performing cycle and random bin counts.
• Accept and receive freight from freight companies after inspecting and verifying the condition of shipment and noting of any damage to shipment documents.
• Research discrepancies on orders and/or invoices (e.g., overages, shortages, and duplicate, damaged) for the purpose of correcting errors and/or returning damaged/incorrect parts.
• Pick and pull parts for outgoing parts orders.
• Deliver and pick up parts from vendors and customers as needed.
• Performs a variety of tasks within the warehouse to support warehouse operations and the sales team.
• Maintain work area and surrounding areas for cleanliness, organization, and proper supplies required to perform duties.
• Participates in annual and random physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend English instructions and information.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in Shipping: knowledge of bills of lading and freight bills
• Packaging Skills: knowledge of how material should be packed to reach its destination economically and without damage
• Excellent organization, verbal, and written communication skill
• Ability to operate warehouse forklift and complete formal training program.

Working Conditions

This position involves both sedentary and other work. For part of the shift, employee will work at a desk in a warehouse setting doing paperwork, telephoning, and filing. For part of the shift, employee will stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach, moving about the dealership facility to communicate with managers, employees, and customers. Lifting of at least 50 lbs. without assistance on a daily basis, as well as heavier loads with forklifts and/or additional assistance will be required. Will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes, and a variety other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
